WORKPLACE NL POWERLINE HAZARDS

This course is based on the requirements set by the Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation Committee.  

WE WILL:

· Ensure students have a basic knowledge of electricity and electrical hazards

· Ensure students know the safety measures when working around transition lines both above and underground

· Teach students what to do should equipment become charged with an electrical current

· Review all of the appropriate legislative requirements
